chicago was so cool...a really amazing city..i wish we had more time
there to explore...we spent a little time goofing around in the city and
joking around with people on the streets...and had a great show that
night...we are now in ann arbor michigan and really like this town too, really artsy and folky...

i think pittsburgh is honestly my favorite city that i've visisted....i really loved it and pennsylvania is so beautiful....
we drove out to grand rapids michigan after new york and drove the prettiest drive of the tour through pennsylvania in the evening....and then foggy ohio...
before new york we were in boston...which is one the of greatest cities in the country...rivers and brown city...i love boston so much...
we made it to new york city!!! and i am excited!!! the driving
was surprisingly not so bad for me in the big town...i love
new york city but we were glad to leave the crazy....it seems like
you would definately lose your mind if you spent too much
time there...it's a soulless place...

our show was in a cool spot right in the flatiron district
we got to go out to a fancy dinner with some big shot

music industry folks and i ate calamari and swordfish!!
empire state building sideways.

at my request, we made it up to lowell after playing albany on our way to boston
and visited jack kerouac's grave! what an amazing and special and memorable experience for me...i bought some childrens crayons and did some rubbings too...really cool thing...

we made it to niagara falls!!! It was really amazing...it was huge...
it was crazy to see, even thrilling like a roller coaster or
jumping off a bridge....sort of spooky even to look at and think about...
we made a big beautiful drive through new york over to
the buffalo area right near canada and played a huge
festival show with blood sweat and tears...a huge festival
of thousands of burnouts...but really fun and good

a live action shot...
we are happy...
philadelphia was a rad town...after the show we
all went and enjoyed philly cheese steaks....

in poughkeepsie new york we spent some time climbing

the walls of an alley....i made it up like seventy feet probably...

we had to take our van in to the mechanic so we spent
about four hours in an air conditioned mcdonalds reading and
talking and relaxing...

the venue had a rad rooftop deck that we enjoyed...
baltimore is the coolest city! it was such a rad brown

city i really regretted not getting to spend much

time here.... a shame but the little that i saw i really loved.

tonight we're in philadelphia and it's really cool too...two nights

ago we were in d.c. which isn't anything too special...pretty

sterile city....outside the city we found a lutheran church and spent a rainy night under the doorway of the church after unscrewing the lightbulb...we're really getting into the big cities now and the

dynamic is really changing...o

we had a great surprising night in charlotte and had
a packed house of about a hundred people...a spirit
raiser...

one of the best times yet for tour!!!out of asheville
north carolina we only had a two hour drive so we
followed some locals directions to a rad hike to
a beautiful waterfall...it was so amazing and nice to
get into the woods....we made it to the bottom of the
falls and lost our inhibitions and some clothes and bathed
and screamed like north carolina indians!!
we came into beautiful green north carolina and
met up with uncle pete! we enjoyed a nice dinner
and he came out to the show and then we stayed
the night at their nice home and aunt kim whipped
us up a great breakfast..
it was really great to see everyone...however a
shame to not have more time to spend there...

came to asheville the next day and loved it!!
that is a place that i would move to and live in...
i've been seeing these trees covered in leaves
all over the south and they blow my mind.....

we got to south carolina and immediately headed to the ocean despite a huge thunderstorm and ran into the rainy sea and swam for an hour...losing some things and gaining others..it was one of the best times out here we've had.
